The French naval contractor DCNS, which is in the news following the data exposure of Indian submarine Scorpene by newspaper ‘The Australian’, has filed a criminal complaint against unknown persons on the grounds of breach of trust before the Paris Public Prosecutor even as the French National authority for Defense Security begins its investigation into the leak on the sensitive data about Indian submarine.
The company, however, remains silent on the designation of the employee who stole the data and leaked it to the world. It also does not confirm how long he was with the company at this juncture. There was, of course, not much given away "as the investigation is on". The company suspects corporate revenge could be at play but he is not sure of it.
